Package labels require similar information as is available for shipments in the Shipment noun. When a shipment is involved in the process, the Shipment message may trigger the printing of package labels. Printing of package labels must also be possible directly from production, without involvement of a shipment. For that purpose, the PackageLabel noun is introduced. Compared to the Shipment noun, which has 3 levels, the PackageLabel noun only has a header and a unit level. Provides general information about the document that is used to print a package label or set of labels. Contains the detail data that is used for printing a package label or set of package labels. The Unit represents the physical structure the label or set of labels applies to. This level equals the ShipmentUnit level of the Shipment noun, with a few extra elements added.
